Application Process

Applications for our Class of 2025 (departing January 2025) have closed.

Applications for our Class of 2026 will open on 1st August 2024 and close on 1st December 2024.

Eligibility

You must be aged between 15 - 17 1/2 years as at January 2026

Are you a high achiever and keen to give everything a go?

Are you keen to showcase NZ and our culture to the world?

Can you host a student for a period of 4 - 6 months? (Either before or during your exchange?

We are looking for applicants from Auckland and Northland, NZ. If you're from elsewhere in NZ get in touch and we will direct you to our colleagues across the country.

The Application Process

The application process is easy:

Return it with all the necessary information by 1st December 2024. All forms must be typed, if you have any issues please contact us.

Don't forget to include your latest school report and school results and a couple character references who think you're exceptional.

We receive lots of applications each year, so ensure you put your best foot forward.

You'll need to write 200 words on your chosen country and why so suggest you do a little research on your favourite country!

You also need to write 200 words on Rotary International and what makes Rotary so cool, so get googling, check out your local club or follow a NZ club on facebook to learn more. Chances are you already know us, cos we've been 'Doing Good in the World' for over 100 years!

Remember this is your exchange so ensure you write your application yourself!

PS: Even if you haven't learn a second language we're still keen to hear from you! As long as you're willing to learn, we're willing to see your outstanding application!
